IP Address conflict!!!!

camner nak buat supaya wireless auto detect?
means tak perlu masukkan IP untk meng 'access' nya... sbb terkadang jadi IP conflict sbb ada 2 3 laptop masuk IP sama.

pakai Access Point(AP) ke wireless router? sambung direct dr internet(stimix) ke dr schoolnet?

I guess..could be direct from streamyx mr jemi.. is it using the same net key rite?..and if prompt IP conflict..just refresh it .. unless net key is not configured to directly auto detect...

IP Address and Network Key/Wireless Password adalah 2 perkara yang berbeza. If network key salah, langsung xdapat connect terus ke network. If conflict IP, its mean "A name indicates what we seek. An address indicates where it is. A route indicates how to get there" berlawanan. So, xjumpa jalan la nk balik ke mana, address dah bertindih kerana ada 2 alamat yg sama. Solutions nye, boleh try:

1..disable your Wireless Local Area Connection, and renable it again,(In Network Connection @ Control Panel)
2.. make sure your wireless router/access point not hang, switch off, then on again,
3...reset your modem/router/ap and reconfigure it again

1. right klik kt icon wireless kt taskbar tu pstu g kat 'view available wireless network'
2. lepastu ade kt bhgn tepi 'related tasks' klik kt 'change advance seting'
3. pegi kt tab 'wireless network' cari name network wireless tu pilih nme tu dan klik properties dan kt tab 'association' masukan network key die pstu klik kat tab 'connection' tick pada box connect when this network in range

saya dah cuba beberapa kali langkah2 di atas tp still ada tanda seruan pada simbol wireless.. maknanya still ada pertindihan IP...
maaflah kalau byk tanya...
saya budak baru belajar kalau salah tolong tunjukkan...

cara ni pun ilusi dah ikut rai tp still takleh connect trus... still kene masukkan IP tuk access internet. Ilusi pun pelik gak kat sini sbb sbelum ni kat mana2 tempat trus leh access internet kalau wireless detect kan. pelik tp benar.... tp itulah hakikatnya sejak Ilusi berkhidmat di sekolah ni. Cikgu ICT pun tanya Ilusi camner nak buat tanpa perlu masukkan IP kalau nak access internet. penim dah nie... Skun cikgu ICT tu dah kene tukar sekolah lain... kadang2 ilusi kene setting IP, bila cikgu-cikgi nak guna tenet... tu yg jadi conflict tu... hahahaha...

refer cikgu/juruteknik yg setup mule2 wireless tue..kene configure blk rasenyer nie..
supaya leh direct acces..

Cikgu yang setup mule2 wireless ni dah pindah sekolah lain.. Tp sebelum ye pindah dia laa yang tanya kenapa kene masuk IP kalau nak access tenet.. mayb dia pun dop tau or dop igt ye setting ganer... baru nie dia ada mari ada gok tanya dia skek2 tp dia mmg kabo dop tau.

solution yg rai bg ni laa yang ilusi duk buat tiap2 ari kat laptop mana2 cikgu yg nak guna tenet n mana2 laptop yang IP conflict. Stakat ni tak jupe lagi cara lain. Tp ni laa keje paling merumitkan bila mana kene setting kat laptop2 cikgu then kadang2 kat e-book budak2 bila cikgu dia nak suh budak2 ni pakai tenet dalam 1 masa. Kadang2 lam 10 ebook 3 je yg dapat tenet. Yg lain tu seme takleh... walhal IP dah berbeza2 ilusi buat. Tu yg pening tu... kene setting satu2... pastu ada yg error or tak detect. Kalau takyah masuk IP kan ke senang keje.... on jer wireless tu pastu trus leh guna.

Normally for Access Point, u need to configure the Start IP and End IP address. So, u should check and reconfigure the AP itself plus is it that AP connect to direct Streamyx line or Schoolnet? Furthermore, there are an option at AP that could manually assigned the IP or automatically decided from AP. Please post your AP model, n we could disscuss with it later..

yup.. glade to hv details explanation bout what type of model AP used so that mr dundec can try to search the solution..what i know even the same devices type of every model,diff model hv diff manual/ setting to configure...

Pastikan profile kat sini, korang kne remove n clear dlu. So, akan kurang sket dr segi WPA/WEP/WPA2 conflict

Kebanyyakkan configuration page untuk model AP ni lebih kurang jer, die cume lain dr segi term perkataan tu sendri. illusi84 kne tgk kat page bwh ni:

a) Wireless Security Encryption..ni utk nk setting ape jenis security key tu..kadang2 untuk sesetgh laptop yg lame, die xleh nk detect/compatible WPA nye key, kadang2 jugak laptop yg baru xleh nk detect/compatible dengan WEP keynye sistem.. WPA ngn WEP ni, byk lak nk aku kne terang, tp gni jela kot senang2 dlu. ade perbezaannye dr sebab wireless card tu sendiri, kalo de terperasan, knape perlu ade 802.11 a/b? 802.11 a/b/g? 802.11 b/g? need to study la kan...hhuhu..

b) DHCP server.. memde alah ni r yg dimaksudkan dun_dec start ngn end ip address tu..kat sini kte bleh set, nk start dr IP no berape? bleh customize pe nombor selagi tidak melebihi nombor 255..so korg leh isi pape ip tu, 255.255.255.0 smpi 255.255.255.255..tp xsemestinye dapat.. bleh try n error k. Yang the range of pool tu plak, tu maknye kita nk bg ip tu, utk brape user: 1-255?? so 256org boleh gune/connect kepada AP tersebut..dan kite leh setkan brp2 limitation die..


itu je stakat ni, korang leh try n error dlu la ye.. tp kalo aku xsilap, setiap model AP ni die dah embed ape no gateway die. Sekiranye sebelom ni sudah ade adjust yg tlh dibuat, kne reset balik AP tu ke factory setting, buke buku manual n set balik.. Cubelah, dan selamat beramal...

jemi kene mari skoloh org gok ar gini... sbb org try nak wak cam kat ats tp dop jupe punca... takut saloh set jer tekgi kan lain lok jadi... takboh r wak mandai (sbb mmg dop pandai)... heheehe.... susah gok main teori je ni skali skala ajor praktikal tek... boleh dop en jemi yang comey lagi kiut (ayt mujuk)....

hurmm... not possible lor. takes time n very costly coz mr jemie now working as technical support at intel in kl.. so we can try to bring him here if we need to do so..but need to pay him some money 1st.. how jemie?? hehee...
